What is a Damage Waiver?

The Damage Waiver is an optional coverage that helps protect you from unexpected repair costs if rental equipment is damaged during normal use. It is not insurance, but rather a way to minimize your financial responsibility in case of damage.

How Does It Work?

• The damage waiver fee is 11% of the equipment rental rate and is automatically applied unless declined at the time of rental.

• If damage occurs, Robertson Rent-All will cover up to $500 of repair costs.

  • If the amount paid for the damage waiver during the rental in which damage occurs is greater than $500, Robertson Rent-All will cover up to the amount paid for the damage waiver.

• You are only responsible for repair costs above this coverage limit.

What Are the Benefits?

What is Not Covered?

 

The damage waiver does NOT cover:

✘ Negligence – Improper operation, overloading, or intentional misuse.
✘ Lost or stolen equipment – You are responsible for replacement cost for lost or stolen equipment.

✘ Accessories or Equipment not charged damage waiver – Only Items charged damage waiver are covered.
✘ Environmental damage – Damage due to floods, fires, wind, storms, earthquakes or acts of God.
✘ Failure to maintain the equipment – Lack of lubrication, cleaning, or routine care.
✘ Insurance – Injury or damage liability to persons or property.

What to Do If Equipment is Damaged?

✔  Notify us immediately – Let us know as soon as possible so we can assess and address the issue.

​

✔  We’ll take care of the repairs – Once reported, our team will handle the repair process and provide a breakdown of any costs if applicable.
